How many do I need? Newborns will go through an average of 80 diapers per week. As they get older, they use less diapers. If you wash more often, you can get by with less diapers. If you're washing every 3rd day and diapering a newborn, you'll want about 30 diapers. If you're washing every other day, you'll only need 20 diapers.
